Herma has expanded its portfolio of self-adhesive materials with the launch of the Essential Line, a new range of paper and film label materials designed to provide converters with a cost-effective solution for price-sensitive, high-volume applications.
Developed for common labeling applications such as food packaging, cosmetics, logistics, and shipping, the Essential Line emphasizes the core performance characteristics required for each application while eliminating features that may be unnecessary, helping reduce material costs without compromising quality.
According to Herma, the products utilize the company’s established adhesives, release liners, and manufacturing processes, ensuring the same levels of reliability and converting performance found throughout its broader self-adhesive materials portfolio.
The initial lineup includes HERMAtherm top el, HERMAtherm eco el, and HERMAtherm PP el thermal materials, with Herma white el and Herma PP white el scheduled to join the range. The company said it plans to continue expanding the Essential Line to cover additional standard labeling applications.
Supplied in net-width 4,000-meter rolls, the materials are designed to support economical production of smaller label runs while offering high availability and short lead times.
