A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her bland living room wall a stunning makeover on the cheap.

Nicole Soames, a DIY enthusiast, used a lick of paint and £5 Ikea buys to give her space a gorgeous overhaul, whilst on a budget.

Posting on social media, the mother, who shares clips under the username Elocin Home, proudly shared the step-by-step process of her living room wall’s transformation.

Nicole wrote: “Ikea mirror hack” and at the start of the clip, we saw Nicole’s plain white wall.

She then used a ruler and some tape to create a large outline on the wall.

Using black paint, Nicole then painted inside the box, to provide a background for her mirror display.

DIY fans were left stunned

Social media users were impressed with the mirror wall and many took to the comments to express this.

One person said: “Work smarter, not harder. Nice job!”

To this, Nicole replied: “Exactly this.”

Another added: “Thank you for the beautiful, creative idea.

“I am piggybacking from you. Are the mirrors flexible peel and sticks?”

Nicole then confirmed: “No lovely.. They [have] a sticky tab.”

A third commented: “Everything looks so beautiful.”

Meanwhile, someone else chimed in: “I LOVE IT. Looks so amazing.”
