Turtle Beach has today unveiled the Stealth Pro II – a wireless premium gaming headset that succeeds the Stealth Pro and takes the company into new audiophile territory. Featuring 24-bit/96-kHz Hi-Res Audio certified by the Japan Audio Society, new 60mm Eclipse dual drivers, and the redesigned CrossPlay 2.0 system, the Stealth Pro II makes a bold claim at the top of the gaming headset market. The MSRP is €349.99, and pre-orders are available now.
The original Turtle Beach Stealth Pro was already a strong headset – with 50mm Nanoclear drivers, active noise cancellation, and swappable batteries. The Stealth Pro II improves on almost every front. The drivers grow to 60mm and are built as “Eclipse dual drivers” with dedicated woofers and tweeters. The batteries now deliver 40 hours instead of 12 per pack. And the CrossPlay 2.0 switching system allows seamless switching between up to four platforms at the press of a button – with an included docking station and one transmitter, while additional transmitters are available separately.
On top of that comes the Hi-Res Wireless certification from the Japan Audio Society – a quality mark that’s still rare in the gaming headset world and positions the Stealth Pro II towards audiophile standards.
Both versions of the Stealth Pro II – the Xbox variant and the PC/PlayStation model – share an extensive feature set:

Turtle Beach offers the Stealth Pro II in two variants. The Xbox version is compatible with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Bluetooth devices. The PC/PlayStation version works with PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Bluetooth devices. The core hardware is identical across both – the difference lies in the transmitter configuration and platform licensing. If you primarily play on Xbox, go for the Xbox version; everyone else is well served by the PC/PlayStation model.
High-resolution audio at 24-bit/96-kHz is usually associated with the audiophile world. In a gaming context, it means more dynamic range, finer sonic detail, and a higher sampling rate than the CD standard format (16-bit/44.1-kHz). In practice, this only works fully if the source system – i.e. a PC or compatible console – also supports this output. On a PC with the appropriate audio output, the Stealth Pro II can truly shine. For competitive gamers who focus on footsteps and directional audio, the new 60mm dual drivers with dedicated woofers and tweeters should be particularly interesting.
The CrossPlay 2.0 system is one of the central innovations over the predecessor. Via the included docking station, up to four platforms can be connected simultaneously – switching is done at the press of a button. Additionally, simultaneous 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connectivity allows audio from two sources at once, such as game audio from a PC and a phone call via smartphone. Both connections have independent volume controls.
For anyone who regularly switches between console, PC, and mobile, this is a genuine convenience gain – similar to what Turtle Beach has already established with the Stealth 600 Gen 3 with multi-platform support.
The 9mm floating microphone is unidirectional and uses AI-based noise cancellation. The flip-to-mute function makes it easy to silence. Anyone who prefers to communicate without a boom mic can fall back on the integrated beamforming microphones, which focus on the voice and reduce background noise.
Fine-tuning is handled by the Swarm II app: a 10-band audio EQ, separate mic EQ, as well as noise gate and sensitivity settings allow for extensive customization. Four pre-installed presets – Bass Boost, Signature Sound, Treble Boost, and Vocal Boost – cover the most common gaming scenarios and can be cycled through directly on the headset.
Turtle Beach uses anodized aluminum and soft-touch surfaces on the Stealth Pro II, giving the headset a premium feel. The memory foam ear cushions with ProSpecs glasses cutout provide comfort even for eyeglass wearers – a feature Turtle Beach has already used successfully on the Stealth 600 Gen 2 MAX. The mesh suspension headband is designed to distribute pressure evenly. A hard shell case is also included – practical for transport or storage.
The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is available for pre-order now at turtlebeach.com and at participating retailers worldwide. The MSRP is €349.99. A concrete release date for wider availability has not yet been announced by Turtle Beach.
With the Stealth Pro II, Turtle Beach clearly positions itself at the top of the gaming headset market. Japan Audio Society-certified Hi-Res Audio, 60mm dual drivers, 40 hours of battery life per pack, and the practical CrossPlay 2.0 system make this headset a compelling overall package for gamers who refuse to compromise on sound quality and platform flexibility. At €349.99, the entry point isn’t cheap, but the Stealth Pro II delivers on paper a feature set that could well justify that price. We look forward to putting it through its paces in a hands-on review.
