Everton are in advanced talks to sign winger Jack Harrison.
The Mirror understands a deal is close, with Leeds prepared to allow the former England U21 international to join the Merseyside club on an initial loan deal, with a future option to buy.
Harrison has agreed the terms of the deal, as he looks to return swiftly to the Premier League after the relegation of the Yorkshire club at the end of last season.
Blues boss Sean Dyche has identified the versatile Leeds midfielder as the perfect fit for the style he wants to introduce at the club, and he sees him provide more options both in midfield and out wide.
Harrison was close to signing for Leicester in the January transfer window for a fee of around £20m, but the transfer collapsed at the 11th hour, with Leeds coming under pressure from fans not to sell.
Everton expect the deal to be rubber stamped in the next 24 hours, and the club will hold an option to make the deal permanent if his loan spell over the next season is successful.
Dyche is still looking for a striker to act as back up to Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who missed the start of the new Premier League season as he returns to fitness following injury.
And the Goodison boss is also looking to unload several players, with the likes of Demarai Gray, Andre Gomes, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Mason Holgate and Neal Maupay all surplus to requirements at the club.
