The coach who helped Banyana Banyana to victory in the Women’s African Cup of Nations in Morocco last week, Desiree Ellis, says the secret to the team’s victory was God. Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis, 59, doesn’t like to talk politics. Because, as she says early on in the interview, she is a football coach and not a politician.
