Life Hacks People Avoided For Years, Until They Realized They Work Like A Charm

You never want to sleep on a good life hack because they can make things soooo much easier.

I recently stumbled across a Reddit thread where people shared tips and tricks they had ignored for years but later discovered were total game-changers. Here are the ones worth taking notes on, because why make life harder than it has to be?

1. “Waiting 24 hours before buying anything that’s not a need. Watch how many ‘must-have’ purchases just disappear overnight.”

2. “Scheduling time specifically to worry if something is causing you anxiety.”

5. “Always take an extra piece of clothing with you wherever you go. It will save you more than once.”

6. “Setting goals. I thought it was for people unlike myself, and I hated that I was made to make them in school. Now I know that my thinking was my parents’ projection, and goal setting is actually one of the most fun and rewarding things. Progress is not linear, and setting good goals for yourself is such a treat when you beat them.”

7. “Gym does far more than just build muscle.”

15. “Yoga. In my mid/late-40s and have suffered with back pain on and off for several years. Yoga always felt like too much time/effort, with no guaranteed payoff. After my last bout of debilitating pain, I started some mild yoga and stretching my hamstrings (only doing about five minutes twice a day). My back hasn’t felt this healthy in years. I no longer worry about lifting something slightly heavy or sneezing wrong, and even my sleep is more restful.”

16. “Counting calories (accurately) will easily let you drop all the weight.”
